Family comedies featuring Santa Claus, which can be watched at the end of the year on TV and also on online platforms, are one of the favourite genres for many viewers. An increasingly popular streaming service in Poland is, of course, Netflix, which enables subscription-based viewing of a variety of films, series and programmes without commercials. All you need is an Internet connection or to download the content to your iOS, Windows 10 or Android device.

This popular platform allows you to watch both new cinema releases and slightly older films and series. There are also plenty of Christmas-themed productions to watch with the whole family.

• How the Grinch Stole Christmas - virtually all children are familiar with the green character of the Grinch, who wants to deprive the town of Whoville of Christmas. Only the help of a little girl can dissuade him from this idea. A great comedy for both adults and children.
• A Boy Called Christmas - a beautiful family Christmas film about discovering your destiny. Young Nikolas and his domesticated mouse set out to meet his father, trying to find the ancient, legendary village of the Elves.
• The Princess Switch - a family film about switching roles, which is sure to appeal especially to teenagers. Two girls, an “ordinary” confectioner from Chicago and a princess-to-be accidentally meet and discover they look like twins! They decide to switch their roles before Christmas.

December is a very special month of the year. Christmas is approaching, coloured lights are flickering all around, Christmas decorations appear on shop windows.
