Do the elves help Father Christmas make the videos? What role do they play in the production process?

Ho, ho, ho! Have you ever wondered how Father Christmas finds the time to record those special videos for children? After all, he has to read letters, prepare presents and make sure the reindeer don’t get up to too much mischief. I’ll let you in on a secret: without the elves’ help, even Father Christmas wouldn’t be able to cope with so many tasks! And producing the festive videos is one of the most exciting adventures in our Lapland studio.

The elves behind the camera: the secrets of Santa’s studio

Hello! I’m one of the elves responsible for the festive magic. Most people think we just wrap presents. Nothing could be further from the truth!

In our imaginary Lapland film crew, every elf has their own job. One keeps an eye on the script, another sets up the lighting, and a third checks that Father Christmas’s beard is just right. Believe me, that last task can take longer than getting the sleigh ready for the journey!

How do the elves help Father Christmas make films?

Before Santa takes his place in front of the camera, the whole Christmas story has to be prepared. Imagine our studio full of colourful decorations, twinkling lights and elves rushing about with their notepads.

The film crew’s most important tasks are:

• Scriptwriting – we come up with stories that spark children’s imaginations.
• Preparing the decorations – we make sure there’s a festive atmosphere, from the Christmas tree right down to the tiniest ornaments.
• Filming the scenes – we make sure every one of Father Christmas’s smiles is beautifully captured.
• Editing and special effects – we combine images, music and magical elements into a single story.
• Personalising the recordings – we help create the impression that Father Christmas is speaking directly to a specific child.

Of course, I won’t reveal all the secrets. The Elven Film Code strictly forbids revealing how Christmas magic works!

But what if something goes wrong? Elven mishaps on set!

Even in Santa’s magical workshop, not every recording goes perfectly first time round! Sometimes an elf sneezes at the worst possible moment; other times, they accidentally knock over a pile of presents; and occasionally, the bells on the elves’ hats drown out Santa’s voice. That’s when laughter erupts on set and we have to reshoot the scene. But, you know what? It’s precisely these unexpected situations that make working on Christmas films so special. Because although the elves take their duties very seriously, they never forget to have a bit of fun!

Do the elves also appear on camera?

But of course! At least some of us love being the stars of Christmas stories.

In films, elves often cause amusing chaos or get caught up in extraordinary adventures. Their presence helps children discover a magical world.

And along the way, they learn something important: even the biggest tasks become easier when we work together and help one another.

Although I must admit that sometimes a single boisterous elf can cause more chaos than a herd of reindeer!

From concept to screen – how is a festive surprise created?

Are you wondering how to order a film like this? Fortunately, you don’t need to travel to Lapland or know a secret elven spell.

At Elfi, the whole process is simple. A parent chooses a Christmas script, fills in details about their child and adds the relevant photos. A personalised version of the video is then produced.

The finished video is sent to your email address and can be kept as a keepsake. Depending on the delivery option chosen, it may be available in as little as two hours.

And then? Just make a mug of hot chocolate, sit down together by the Christmas tree and say: Look, I think Father Christmas has sent you a message!

The rest is down to the magic of Christmas.

Why do the elves put so much heart into producing the video?

Because we know full well that the most precious gift isn’t always a toy wrapped in colourful paper.

Sometimes it’s a moment shared together, a surprise, joy and the feeling that someone really does remember us.

When a child watches a film in which Father Christmas addresses them by name, recognises their photos and hears kind words, an ordinary viewing turns into a personal experience.

That’s why, in our elven imagination, every detail matters. From the very first note of festive music right through to the final ‘Ho, ho, ho!’.

The biggest secret? We create the magic together!

Finally, I’ll let you in on one more thing. Even the best team of elves and the most experienced Father Christmas need one very special helper. Do you know who?

You – the parents!

It’s you who know your children’s dreams, achievements, interests and the stories that bring a smile to their faces best of all. Thanks to the information you provide, the festive video can become a truly personalised surprise.

So if you’re dreaming of a present that will leave behind beautiful memories, take a look at Elfi.pl and create your own message from Father Christmas.

And us? We’re back to work! After all, someone has to keep an eye on the cameras, the festive decorations and make sure Rudolf doesn’t eat the script.

Ho, ho, ho! See you on screen!
